What a relaxing, wonderful, and gorgeous place! We had an amazing time here, and was exactly the type of getaway we were looking for! The Raccoons came to visit each night! The hot tub melted all tension away, as did sitting on the porch swing listening to the creek and watching the birds! Creekside is the kind of place James Bond would come to after defeating the Commies with a beautiful lady on his arm. And though James and his female companion would most likely be too busy to enjoy the eclectic film and audio collections (The Green Hornet lives again!), my family and I were duly impressed. No, 007 would overlook the TV and settle straight into the hot tub with his temporary love and enjoy the perfect 102-degree water, complete with ambient lights and jets. And James would never forget to add the ½ teaspoon of chlorine to the hot tub after every dip.
Usually I feel that places do not supply enough towels; this is simply not true here. Oh, the luxury of excess towels and a washer and dryer - Divine!
The creek speaks for itself and will probably remain a staple of past visitors' dreams.

I came with my mother, daughter, and two small grandchildren. Mounthaven far exceeded my expectations! Never have I experienced friendlier hosts who made every effort to accommodate our needs. Our stay at your "chalet" made of feel at home during our vacation. We could not ask far a more pleasant 3 days.
Location of the chalet could not be better. As for the cabin it was more than we ever expected. Yes we knew there was a hot tub and a kitchen, but it is all the special little details that amazed us. The kitchen was well equipped including the basics for cooking (pepper, salt, herbs, whole bean coffee oil, jam..).
The bathroom was also fully equipped (again more than we expected) but it is the 2 shower heads (spa style) that added to the comfort.
Finally candles, movies provided and the general atmosphere that made our stay one we will never forget. Thank You,

This has been such a wonderful experience in honor of our anniversary. Just the peacefulness and serenity of it all is unforgettable. Being surrounded by the trees and it snowing was majestic. We lay in the hot tub at night and let all of our cares drift away. Standing on the deck looking up at the stars in the sky was calming and peaceful. The Barn Owl has just acquired two new fans and we plan to visit this beautiful oasis again on our next anniversary.

We can understand why people love the country so much. This has been just what we needed, peaceful, and quiet with nature.
There is everything in here for it to feel just like home. This cabin is set up so cute and it is very cozy. When we get home we are going to look into buying one, that's how much we love it. It is so relaxing here with no worries at all. It was fun sitting in the hot tub after breakfast with snow on the ground. This place made us appreciate the more simple things in life. Thank you so much for providing us with this wonderful weekend. We will for sure be back and hopefully stay longer.

Were we ever surprised when we walked through the door of Huckleberry! A beautifully designed and expertly finished cottage-way beyond our expectations! We are here for the Rainier summit climb-staying at Huckleberry has made the trip perfect. You have literally thought of everything -just wish we could have spent more time in the cabin. In fact, to me, Huckleberry is a reason to return to Washington, all the way from Ohio!

My husband and I stayed at another Jasmer’s cabin last year while I was recovering from surgery. We loved it so much we decided to come back and try a different cabin. Tamanos was more than we expected. We spent three fabulous days celebrating our 4th Anniversary, lounging, soaking, in the hot tub & reconnecting. It was the best gift we could have given ourselves. Thank you. What a great place to spend our 10th anniversary. It was great to sit in hot tub under the stars and it was so nice to BBQ our own dinner and eat it cuddling instead of dressed up in some restaurant. It's so peaceful here… And to get up in the morning and have coffee right here fresh ground and put on a terry robe and sit outside and drink it was great! P.S. I was surprised and pleased to find an iron. We have stayed in hotels and paid more and gotten less. It's a great deal - thanks again.

Almost Paradise is home away from home. Not knowing where Jeff was taking me for a weekend getaway ended up being miles from where I could imagine. Two days of hiking up Mt. Rainier and then relaxing by a cozy campfire was just a minimum of what I could have asked for. But what I found was more…a hot tub for relaxing tired feet, music to set the mood, and treats to wake up to in the morning. This place is serenity in disguise. George and Gracie kept us company while we enjoyed the night life of the outdoors. We will miss the hospitality that was provided to us but we will have MANY memories to look back on. Thank you again for making our weekend unforgettable.

What a wonderful place to end our vacation! Almost 3 weeks on the road touring this great state. We had a wide variety of "lodging" experiences. This little spot at the foot of the Mountain has been the best. Everything- from the super comfy bed to the little vase of flowers on the windowsill has made our sty here so pleasant. The weather has been warm and sunny. Rainier is incredible - the beauty of God's creation first takes one's breath away. Thanks for a wonderful stay at the "Wild Bird".

Our Honeymoon - Before our wedding we searched the internet for the perfect honeymoon spot. When we arrived we were delighted to see that Almost Paradise exceeded our expectations. It’s rare in life when fantasy meets reality, and that’s what happened when we stepped inside Mountain Home log cabin. Lauren and I have fantasized for years about the idyll cabin we’d build as a retreat from our everyday home. Here we found that cabin. The wood work, attention to detail (both in craftsmanship and amenities), location, fireplace, windows, skylights, furniture, linens. Not a comfort overlooked. This place rocks!
